Leading a finance and ERP programme.

An air­line is re­pla­cing its ERP and re­design­ing fi­nan­cial pro­cesses around stand­ard SAP cap­ab­il­it­ies wherever prac­tical. The pro­gramme needs co­ordin­ated lead­er­ship across busi­ness and tech­nical de­liv­ery.

The en­gage­ment com­bines pro­gramme lead­er­ship with es­tab­lish­ing the PMO. Work began in the Prepare phase using SAP Activate, put­ting the de­liv­ery struc­ture in place and de­vel­op­ing a shared plan for the pro­gramme.

The pro­gramme has since com­pleted work­shops com­par­ing busi­ness re­quire­ments with stand­ard SAP pro­cesses. Their out­puts have been con­sol­id­ated into a com­pre­hens­ive back­log, with plan­ning com­pleted across the full pro­gramme.

Im­ple­ment­a­tion is on­go­ing. The com­pleted pre­par­a­tion and plan­ning provide the basis for co­ordin­at­ing de­liv­ery ahead.
